A free weekly hybrid fitness event combining 500m runs, bodyweight movements and community connection. Built for all fitness levels.
PARK500 exists to help people become healthier, stronger and more connected by bringing free outdoor fitness events to local parks.
We combine running, simple functional movement and community support in a 500-metre-based event format that anyone can take part in — regardless of age, background, fitness level or experience.
PARK500 is built to help people move more, train outdoors, challenge themselves safely and connect with others in their local community.
No gym. No equipment. No barrier to getting started.
Walk it, jog it, race it, volunteer or support others.
Local parks. Local people. Shared effort.
PARK500 is a free weekly hybrid fitness event inspired by military PT, running culture, bodyweight training and community movement. No gym. No equipment. No pressure. Just show up, warm up, run, move and finish together.
Built to stay accessible for everyone.
Same format every week so people can track progress.
Every movement can be adjusted to any fitness level.
Run together. Move together. Finish together.
The same structure every week. Simple enough for beginners. Hard enough for athletes.
All movements can be scaled. Participants can walk, rest, reduce reps, modify movements or stop at any time.
Runners wanting more. Gym people wanting a challenge. Beginners needing structure. Parents, kids, HYROX athletes and anyone needing movement, consistency and community.
Every movement is scalable for all fitness levels.
Build strength, durability and resilience.
Test pacing, grit and transitions every week.
Support the community and help bring the event to life.
PARK500 was shaped by years of training anywhere — military bases, remote deployments, hotel rooms, layovers, parks, pools, gyms and running routes.
The lesson was simple: you do not need perfect conditions to stay fit. You need structure, consistency, resilience and people willing to show up.
That is what PARK500 is built on. Simple fitness. Real community. No barriers.
Children are welcome at PARK500.
For safety, children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times before, during and after the event.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children throughout the session.
PARK500 involves running, bodyweight exercises, lunges, push-ups, sit-ups and burpee broad jumps, so all participants should take part at a level suitable for their ability.
